Every year in England, and all over the world, children go missing.
Sadly, not all are found.
They are still out there somewhere.
For every child yet to return is a family with a piece missing.
A family with its peace missing
A family still searching.
Still loving.
Still daring to hope.
One of the most high profile cases of a missing child in recent years is of Madeleine McCann, who was just three years old at the time of her disappearance, on Thursday May 3rd 2007.
Three.
A few months younger than my own daughter today.
I cannot comprehend the pain of having a child torn from the heart of your family.
Nor the fear the child must feel being taken away from everything they know and love.
Madeleine was taken from her family's holiday apartment in Portugal whilst she slept.
Her terror and confusion must have been vast.
Today, Sunday May 12th 2012, is Madeleine's 10th birthday and on this day, I urge you not to forget.
To keep her in your mind and keep searching.
To help bring her home to the family she is missing from.
To the family she is still very much missed by.
Recently, this photo was released:
This is how Madeleine may look today.
If you believe you have seen Madeleine, or have any other information, please contact your local police force immediately, AND +44 845 838 4699 or investigation@findmadeleine.com OR Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org

Let us hope that we can return this little girl to her family and her home.
To where she belongs.
I would wish that all the kids are found and taken home. Hopefully we all help with raising the profiles and someone out there can help return some of the kids, no matter what their ages, to their families.
